2.1 Information you give us

• Account information: name, email address, username, password and country.
• Connected social accounts: the accounts you link to ClipFlip and the profile and statistics those platforms share with us.
• Content you submit: links to your clips and the details of each submission.
• Payment and billing information: payout wallet addresses, billing details, and the tax details we need for invoices (such as date of birth, tax ID and address).
• Brand team information (where available): team members, their platform roles and the emails of people invited to join.
• Messages and support requests: what you send to us or to brands on ClipFlip, including attachments.
• Your preferences: email settings and marketing consent.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: IP address, browser, device and operating system, pages visited and features used.
• Location: the country your IP address points to, and location verification for campaigns that require it.
• Cookies and similar tools: see section 7.

2.3 Information from social platforms and other sources

• Public social media data: public profile details and public statistics of your posts, such as views and engagement.
• Platform activity: submission results, earnings, payouts, levels and rewards generated as you use ClipFlip.
• From other users (where available): your email if a brand invites you to its team, and referral details if someone invites you to ClipFlip.

3.1 To provide ClipFlip

• Create and manage accounts, brand teams and campaigns.
• Track submission stats and verified views.
• Process deposits, payouts and invoices.
• Provide support and handle appeals.

3.2 To keep ClipFlip safe and fair

• Verify accounts, connected social accounts and submissions.
• Detect and prevent fraud, fake engagement and misuse.
• Keep communication on the platform. Messages may be reviewed by our team and filtered automatically.
• Monitor and improve performance and fix errors.

Some of these checks are automated. If an automated check affects you, for example a rejected submission, you can ask for a person to review it through the app or at admin@clipflip.io.

3.3 To communicate with you

• Send updates about your account, payouts, campaigns and changes to our terms on email or notifications.
• If you opt in, send product updates and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3.4 To meet legal obligations

• Keep accounting and tax records and respond to valid legal requests.

3.5 Legal basis

We use your data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running a secure and fair platform, and, for analytics cookies and marketing, with your consent.

4.1 Other users

• Brands: see the profile of clippers who take part in their campaigns: username, level, connected accounts, submissions and approved clips. Brands don’t see your contact or payment details.
• Other users: may see your username, level and leaderboard position.
• Brand team members (where available): see each other’s names, emails and roles.

4.2 Service providers

We share the minimum data needed with providers that help us run ClipFlip: hosting and databases, analytics and error tracking, email delivery, payment processing, social media data and verification, and content review. All of them must protect your data under a data processing agreement.

4.3 Legal requirements

We may disclose data to comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect against fraud and other illegal activity.

4.4 Business transfers

If ClipFlip is sold or merged, your data may pass to the new owner under this policy.

4.5 Aggregated data

We may share aggregated statistics that do not identify you, for example campaign results.
